The Mission Part 2

It's not a secret Michigan schools are struggling. So many of the issues we point to for correction are the branches and fruit but rarely the root causes. When you simply cut off  something at that stage- it's pruning and it usually results in increased production.
When a classroom has so many children and one path many are set up to fail. It's what Einstein said about not testing the fish on his ability to climb a tree.
Anti-Critical Theory. CRT is just a branch and cutting it is causing it to increase in production. It must be uprooted.
Ibram X Kennedy author of "How To Be Anti-Racist" was quoted saying, "the only remedy for past racism is present racism and the only way to remedy present racism is with future racism." In other words they don't have a plan to stop it but instead take turns being racist. 

Kayla knows there is no one who will love your children like you do, no one will care for your children like you do, no one knows what is best for your children more than you do.
There are still laws on federal books that allow the government to remove your children if you're not 'progressive' enough. This is what they did to the Native Americans to destroy their culture and history. The kids got new names, new clothes, new hair cuts (dishonor), and their language, history, music and was demonized and banned while the kids remained separated from the parents. Sounds like the agenda we are seeing be ran now with transitioning. 

Kayla's life has made her 100 percent prolife. She was a teen mom and experienced going through a closed adoption and an open adoption while being in foster care herself . Kayla after getting married lost her first child due to a miscarriage and God has blessed her by allowing her to raise 3 more children. She has seen these issues from many angles and believes in the right to life.
Kayla in her mission to administer truth and grace has evaluated abortion from the mother's perspective. The evidence is clear that women who have abortions are more likely to struggle with mental illness and commit suicide . When abortion doctors have been confronted they always say how the mother was already mentally ill before the abortion.
Kayla has been angered by how these women are treated by doctors who should know better. When a woman becomes pregnant she has a surge of hormone production and when that pregnancy is unnaturally terminated her hormones bottom out. Think about post partum depression, this is at an exaggerated level. These women, who are said to have already been mentally struggling are just sent on their way being told by the Left it was a good thing and by the Right they are condemned. They suffer in silence until their shame is ended by suicide.
In the parable of the prodigal son- both brothers needed the same Father's grace and mercy. 

Kayla proudly supports the brave men and women in uniform. Kayla is grateful to the military and the police. She is very worried about the military acting as police. She believes this is a very slippery slope especially when the levers of power switch hands often. It was never intended for the federal government to have a police force or to use the military as a policing force, this would be unconstitutional.
Kayla believes we need to increase sherrifs and their deputies who are elected by the people and beholdened to the constitution.
2020 lockdowns showed a lot of cracks in policing and a blurry line between being public servants or governor's gestapo. 

Property Tax is a never ending lease with the government that gives them an endless path to take your property.
When you purchase gas, figured into the price are three sperate taxes, two state and one federal.
We pay so much taxes our taxes are paying taxes. Somehow the money never makes it to its original purpose. Do you know how many taxes have been increase or created to fix roads and yet they are still not fixed.

The upper peninsula is the size of an entire state yet has no self governance. We are connected to lower Michigan where we send, 2 Senators out of 38 and 4 State Representatives out of 110. I understand the population difference and how it is worked out but that doesn't change that we are under represented.

If we had our own state, we would get 1-3 US house reps. 2 US senators, our own entire state government. The UP is the perfect place for a part time legislature. 

When you decrease the cost of the prisons, as the state of the UP so to speak, we would not need so many. The economics begin to change a lot, especially when we have more say over which industries to promote and to reduce.
